Wild Wild Hog

Wild hog running through fields
Wild hog of the bottom land
Wild hog running with deer and cows
Leave my land alone
Your fat and cause dishoveled ground
Now you have joined with the potbellies
You have short legs and run like logs with stick legs.

Bigfoot Space Alien

Is Bigfoot an Earthling
Or is it a spaceling
In the images
That we have
Seen here
We believe
That he is
In a spacesuit.
The Bigfoot is
not comfortable
with this
atmosphere
at this
time.

The Unknown Region

Unknown or known
Who are you?
Who or what
Where and how
Outer space is an unknown region
As a nebula is born
Or a supernova explodes
A region is reworked
Comets are filling stations
An the moon is a big gas station
With all of that Helium-3

Tow Papas Tent

Tow Papas Tent
Where the shows are
Where the dancing never stops
A tent of wild going on
Wildness in the wilderness
Wild cats and jugs
Snake doctors fly around
The floor as of dirt
Earthen dances
Just wildness
Tow Papas Tent

Tunip Green Ban

Banned
They told me not to say this
Banned
They told me to shut up
Banned
They told me to sit down
Banned
Freedom
Banned
Freedom
Banned
All I can do is sit in this box room alone.
Everything has been banned.
Tunip greens up yours.
They were banned.
Dont you say Tunip Greens!

Sahara

Peace will not be silenced
Love will not be beat down
The truth will not be covered up
There are so many cracks
The waters of truth are spilling everywhere
They will drown by their lies
Sahara
Oh, Sahara

Cowboy Fence Cows

The fence falls down
The cows get in and out
They go here and there
But sometimes they stay silent
Sometimes they eat grass
Sometimes they just chew
A sanctuary for cows
A haven.
Real cowboys do not ride horses.
A fool before them.

Phil Collins Zomdrum

Stolen from a zombie prince
The one magical zombie drum
It was at the Alamo
It was used at Waterloo
The drum that calls zombies
Behold the zomdrum
Made in Tyler Texas
Sits now in a small room
Off to the side of a chapel

Company Made Zombie

Made to fire
Made to destroy lives
All for company gold
In the broken bow
Of the one before
No friends wanted here
Made to fire
Made to go home
Tricked of the mind.

Ford Fairlaine

Seems like I was running all the time
Running from the things I never said
Seems like it was just yesterday
Me and her we were doing just fine
Well a million blue tears
And a Ford Fairlaine
As I run off a cliff in California
I know she wont mind
If I take it one more time
She never liked that car anyway.

Old Dusty and the Return

Wild wind blows across the porch
Leaves wander and run away
The trees sway
Everything I pick up either has rust or dust on it
Colors fade
The sky is in a dull color
Invisible chickens run around
Looking for one more worm
Conspiracy is on the step
I plunder my mailbox in search of packages
Packages of Christmas and birthdays
A train seems to be coming
Birds fly for hours
The moon waits
And the fireplace burns wood
What a strange season.

Tomorrow We Will Arrive in Nacogdoches

Nights of silent moon
Let me see the trees
Far across the fields
My mind makes images
Far off shadows.
Wagons creak down a mud trodden road
Without light but the moon
Like a filtered sun
Shadow light guides us
Down the road to the creek
We must make camp now
Tomorrow we will arrive in Nacogdoches.

Holy Fire Ant Hell

The field I see in the distance
There are fire ants there
Their mounds await for some feet,
To sting until you yell
Holy ant mama hell!
Then you run and fall into water
A pond or creek, maybe
The sting lights up your whole body.
Until you become beacon.
Or bacon.

The Horsemen of Tunage

Wild horsemen race past my house
With yelling
They turn around and come back again
With yelling
This time I run outside and yell,
It does no good!
They are having gathering down the road
They have small radios attached to their horses
They blast Lightings' Guitar Rag.
The horsemen of Tunage.

Thunder Of

Thunder in the distance
Sound of rumble wagon
Run away train of the sky
Sound as if the sky was in tear
Window pane shutters
I drop my florescent light
Understanding an ancient
Run to the cave
It shall rain now.

Bigfoots and Zombies

Bigfoot eats bacon
Zombie eats brains
Bigfoot has the walk
Zombie has a drag
Bigfoot blends in to wilderness
Zombie blends in to a black and white movie
Bigfoot stinks
Zombie, I don't know?

Taters to the Family

Digging taters all day
I throw them at zombies in the evening
When moontime arises
Sometimes they love onions
Sometimes they hate onions
It depends on the dirt they left
If they were dug out of sand
They are still cranky but fair
If they were dug out of clay
They are sunspot and full moon crazy
That is when they get a tater in the face.

Zombies, Hamburgers and Wild Onions

Zombies and the hamburgers
Add some fries here and there
Just sitting down on some good ground
Just eating hamburgers and watching zombies
They walk and are going in straight lines
They fall and get up
They walk sideways when pushed
And sometimes they like to eat wild onions

Zombies of the Ancient Cornbread

Lashing out at a mad man
A mad zombie
A central brained man of antique wisdom
Castle of means and ways
They live on the near hill
Tell them they must come out
There are people here
They bring the sweet tea over
And lay it near an ancient date tree
It is only a short time until the pond is ready
Go have a picnic on the creek
Forget about the old cornbread on your mind
Those other poets are long gone
They were only made of cardboard anyway
When it rained, they turned back into wasp spit.

Zombie in the Field of Potatoes

The laying down of the zombie
A quiet and dismal movement
The zombies lie in my garden of potatoes
They seem to love to lie there
Try that they may to listen to the potatoes
The potatoes and the zombies have a bond
A bond that is growing day by day
The corn is jealous of their nature.
